- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism and local recommendations
- Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Utilize PMS software to manage reservations and occupancy
- Resolve guest concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years of customer service or front desk experience
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Chicago attractions and transportation
- Attention to detail and multitasking abilities
