Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming and memorable first impression.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, including verification of identification and payment processing.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with patience, professionalism, and problem-solving skills.
- Assist with reservations, room assignments, and coordination with housekeeping and maintenance departments.
- Maintain the front desk area and lobby environment to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Process payments and accurately balance daily bank deposits.
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to maximize revenue opportunities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous hospitality experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Proven ability to remain calm and composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
