Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently, verifying identification and payment methods.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries via email or in person with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage the front desk operations, including managing the switchboard, handling mail, and coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance staff.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with empathy and urgency, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Process accurate financial transactions and maintain strict adherence to cash handling and security policies.
- Assist with concierge services, including local recommendations, restaurant reservations, and transportation arrangements.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in hotel front desk, guest services, or customer support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude towards guest satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
