Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Manage reservations and room assignments efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately and securely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area at all times.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest comfort.
- Assist in coordinating special events and guest services during peak seasons.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; hospitality or hotel management certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computers and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A valid driver's license may be required.
