Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in/check-out processes efficiently using hotel management systems
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide personalized local recommendations
- Process payments, manage reservations, and maintain accurate billing records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Uphold brand standards for cleanliness, safety, and service excellence
- Monitor security protocols and manage lost-and-found procedures
- Collaborate with night shift team for smooth transition of duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Valid Michigan driver's license (for local errands)
- Basic knowledge of Detroit attractions and transportation
