Responsibilities
- Guest Check-In & Check-Out: Efficiently process reservations, verify guest information, and handle check-in and check-out procedures with a smile.
- Reception Support: Manage the main switchboard, answer incoming calls, and transfer guests to the appropriate departments promptly.
- Lobby Management: Monitor the lobby area to ensure safety and security, assist with luggage, and provide directions or recommendations for local attractions.
- Shift Coordination: Adapt to rotating shift schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 coverage.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests in a calm and professional manner to exceed expectations.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records in the Property Management System (PMS) and handle cash handling and credit card transactions accurately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in front desk operations or hotel reception is preferred.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
- Professionalism: A polished appearance and a positive, guest-first attitude.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
