Job Summary:
The Guest Services Associate is the face of our hotel. You will ensure our guests have a memorable stay by providing exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they depart. We value reliability, professionalism, and a genuine desire to create a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently using our hotel management software.
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly, maintaining a professional and courteous tone.
- Assist guests with directions, local recommendations, and concierge services.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and securely.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- A professional appearance and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
