As a Front Desk Agent, you are the face of our hotel. You will manage check-ins and check-outs, answer inquiries, and ensure every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival with a professional and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently using our Property Management System (PMS).
- Answer multi-line phone systems professionally and transfer calls accurately.
- Handle guest complaints and special requests with empathy and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain the front desk area to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
- Assist with mail delivery, package handling, and local recommendations.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Previous front desk or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel PMS software is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
