Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm, professional demeanor, managing the check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Answer incoming calls and emails promptly, addressing inquiries about hotel services, local attractions, and reservations.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with grace and efficiency, escalating complex issues to the hotel manager when necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby to ensure a welcoming atmosphere at all times.
- Process payments accurately using hotel property management systems (PMS).
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet our high standards of quality.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Professional appearance and a friendly, approachable personality.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality is a plus.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy front office environment.
