Responsibilities
- Check-in/out guests with efficiency and warmth using Opera property management system
- Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing inquiries
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet services
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues with discretion
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Upsell hotel amenities, packages, and local attractions
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Basic knowledge of NYC attractions and transportation
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid New York State hospitality certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
