As the face of our brand, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our valued guests, ensuring their stay is seamless, comfortable, and unforgettable.
Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Provide warm, professional, and personalized service to all guests, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with empathy and efficiency.
- Check-In/Check-Out: Manage the registration process accurately, including verifying identity, collecting payments, and issuing room keys using Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Communication: Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally, routing calls to the appropriate department or taking detailed messages.
- Front Office Operations: Maintain an organized and tidy front desk area, ensuring all lobby amenities are stocked and presentable at all times.
- Cash & Security: Handle cash transactions with strict accuracy and adhere to all hotel security protocols, including key control and access card management.
- Upselling & Sales: Promote hotel amenities, dining options, and local attractions to maximize revenue and enhance the guest experience.
- Problem Solving: Proactively address guest complaints or special requests to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in Hospitality or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hotel front office, concierge, or customer service role preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with hotel PMS (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch) is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and welcoming telephone manner.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light objects, and navigate the hotel property safely.
- Character: A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well within a diverse team.
