Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, and answer all inquiries with a professional and helpful demeanor.
- Operations Management: Monitor the front desk area to ensure it is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Communication: Handle incoming phone calls, take accurate messages, and route calls to the appropriate departments or guests promptly.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve guest complaints or issues in a calm and efficient manner, escalating complex matters to the manager when necessary.
- Administrative Tasks: Process payments, verify credit card information, and maintain accurate records of guest stays and transactions.
- Booking Management: Assist with reservation inquiries and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room readiness.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or front desk operations is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and familiarity with property management systems (PMS) or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Professionalism: High school diploma or GED required; valid driver's license preferred.
