Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: warmly welcome guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
- Check-In/Check-Out: efficiently process reservations, guest registrations, payments, and room changes using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Guest Relations: address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Concierge Services: provide information about local attractions, dining, and transportation to enhance the guest experience.
- Front Desk Operations: manage incoming phone calls, emails, and faxes in a timely manner.
- Security & Safety: monitor the lobby area to ensure the safety and security of guests and property.
- Housekeeping Liaison: communicate maintenance issues and housekeeping requests to ensure rooms are ready for new arrivals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional hospitality certification is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual candidates are highly valued.
- Technology: Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, GuestCentric).
- Interpersonal: A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
