Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using property management systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving complaints, and anticipating guest needs.
- Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism, maintaining a polite and helpful demeanor.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and common spaces.
- Process payments, verify credit card information, and balance daily financial transactions.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
- Assist with luggage handling and transportation arrangements when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk, reception, or hospitality role (1-2 years preferred).
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) is a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Hospitality is a plus.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
