Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Provide exceptional check-in and check-out services with a warm, personalized welcome to every guest.
- Operational Excellence: Manage the front desk efficiently, handling inquiries, reservations, and payments with accuracy.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, offering local recommendations and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints and issues professionally, escalating to management when necessary to ensure satisfaction.
- Housekeeping Coordination: Communicate room status and maintenance requests to housekeeping staff to maintain the highest cleanliness standards.
- Event Support: Assist in the setup and coordination of hotel events, conferences, and private functions.
- Brand Representation: Uphold the Grand Luxe Hotels brand image by maintaining a professional and polished appearance.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a hotel environment is preferred but not mandatory for this immediate hire role.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse international guests.
- Professionalism: A polished appearance, professional demeanor, and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility: Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using computer systems, property management software, and mobile devices.
- Bilingual: Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a significant plus for our New York location.
