Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm, professional, and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently using the hotel Property Management System (PMS).
- Handle guest inquiries regarding local attractions, dining options, and transportation with accuracy.
- Process payments, resolve billing discrepancies, and issue folios in a timely manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls and route them appropriately while maintaining a professional tone.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or customer service degree is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar hotel role is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and hotel reservation software.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects (up to 20 lbs).
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
