Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, including verifying identification and processing payments securely.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails promptly, providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with grace, efficiency, and a problem-solving mindset.
- Monitor the lobby area to ensure a welcoming, organized, and secure atmosphere at all times.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and common spaces.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs and maintain high standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or reception role is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Basic computer literacy and cash handling experience.
