Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Manage reservations and room assignments using the property management system (PMS).
- Handle incoming calls and emails promptly, answering inquiries regarding amenities and local attractions.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues professionally, escalating complex matters to management when necessary.
- Monitor front desk security and safety protocols to ensure guest and staff well-being.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions with strict accuracy.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with property management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 20 lbs).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
