Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in guests in a professional and friendly manner, verifying identity and collecting necessary payment information.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, answering guest inquiries about local attractions, restaurant recommendations, and hotel amenities.
- Process check-outs efficiently, ensuring all charges are accurate and receipts are provided.
- Manage the front desk lobby area, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a welcoming environment at all times.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail, packages, and faxes to guest rooms.
- Assist with basic concierge services, such as providing directions or coordinating transportation.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old (proof of age required).
- Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required; a positive attitude is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with guests of all ages.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light packages (up to 20 lbs).
- High school student preferred but open to recent graduates.
