Responsibilities
- Provide a warm and welcoming welcome to all guests and visitors at the front desk.
- Manage the front desk operations efficiently, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
- Assist guests with local directions, restaurant recommendations, and concierge services.
- Handle mail, packages, and deliveries with the utmost care and attention to detail.
- Monitor the lobby area to ensure it remains clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing.
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory for this position.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor at all times.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn hotel management software quickly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects (up to 20 lbs).
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
