Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with a professional and problem-solving approach.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate department.
- Manage hotel key card systems and ensure security protocols are followed at all times.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming lobby area, including front desk organization and coffee station upkeep.
- Assist with check-out procedures, including processing payments and issuing digital receipts.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
- Process wake-up calls and manage express check-in/checkout requests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous front desk or hospitality experience is preferred but not always required for urgent hiring.
- Strong computer proficiency, specifically in MS Office and hotel management software.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Professional appearance and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
