Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a welcoming and positive first impression.
- Check-in/Check-out: Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes, verifying guest information and processing payments accurately.
- Reservation Management: Assist with room bookings, upgrades, and special requests to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities.
- Concierge Services: Provide local recommendations, arrange transportation, and answer inquiries regarding hotel facilities and services.
- Operational Support: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and switchboard.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally to ensure a seamless stay.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform daily banking duties, reconcile reports, and update guest profiles in the Property Management System (PMS).
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in front desk operations or hotel reception.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polite and professional demeanor.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch) is highly desirable.
- Language: Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Professionalism: Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
