Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, providing a personalized check-in experience.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests efficiently and professionally.
- Process payments and manage folios accurately using hotel PMS software.
- Answer incoming calls, take reservations, and manage voicemails.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior hospitality experience preferred.
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent or Receptionist is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (e.g., luggage).
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
