Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a professional and memorable first impression.
- Check-In/Out: Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process, handling payments, room keys, and registration forms accurately.
- Guest Relations: Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and services with a positive attitude.
- Reservation Management: Assist with room assignments, track occupancy rates, and coordinate with the reservations team to maximize room revenue.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Operational Support: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, including the reception desk and lobby lounge.
- Communication: Relay important messages, wake-up calls, and service requests to appropriate departments such as housekeeping and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in Hospitality or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front desk, concierge, or customer service role within the hospitality industry.
- Skills: Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) such as Opera, Fidelio, or similar software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual candidates are highly preferred.
- Professionalism: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Appearance: Professional appearance and grooming standards consistent with a luxury hotel environment.
