Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests by answering inquiries, processing check-ins and check-outs, and managing reservations efficiently.
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail, ensuring all messages are relayed promptly.
- Maintain the professional appearance and organization of the front desk area, including the reception lobby and common areas.
- Handle cash transactions, process credit card payments, and accurately balance daily financial reports.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining guest history records in our Property Management System.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests and ensure room readiness.
- Enforce safety and security protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure during peak business hours.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Valid driverβs license may be required.
