Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm, professional welcome and assist with luggage upon arrival.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying identification and processing payments accurately.
- Handle high-volume phone calls and emails, providing information regarding local attractions, dining, and hotel amenities.
- Manage the reservation system to ensure accurate room availability and booking details.
- Maintain a pristine front desk area, including organizing stationery and greeting guests in the lobby.
- Resolve guest complaints or inquiries immediately with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet our high standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a professional and polite demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management systems (PMS).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and financial transactions.
- A neat, professional appearance and a positive attitude.
