Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-ins/check-outs using PMS systems while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly with empathy and solution-oriented mindset
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and maintenance teams to ensure flawless overnight operations
- Process payments, manage cash handling procedures, and balance daily transactions
- Monitor property security systems and emergency protocols during overnight hours
- Prepare daily reports and maintain detailed guest preference records
- Uphold brand standards through immaculate personal presentation and professional conduct
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in front desk or hospitality role with night shift exposure
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English; multilingual abilities preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities and composure under pressure during high-volume periods
- Valid DC security guard license (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification a plus
- Deep knowledge of Washington DC attractions and transportation networks
