Responsibilities
- Execute efficient check-in and check-out procedures for overnight guests using Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Manage high-volume phone inquiries, emails, and messaging platforms during quiet hours.
- Monitor hotel security and fire safety systems to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist guests with local directions, dining recommendations, and transportation arrangements.
- Process accurate financial transactions and handle cash and credit card duties in compliance with company policy.
- Maintain a pristine front desk area and lobby, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Report maintenance issues and irregularities to the appropriate departments immediately.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or customer service.
- Must be available to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
