Responsibilities
- Greet and Check-in: Welcome guests upon arrival with a warm demeanor, verify identification, and process check-ins and check-outs efficiently using hotel management software.
- Guest Support: Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly via phone or in-person to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Security & Safety: Conduct regular security rounds of the property to ensure guest safety, lock doors as required, and monitor surveillance cameras.
- Reservation Management: Assist with handling late check-outs, room changes, and special requests to maximize room revenue and guest satisfaction.
- Housekeeping Liaison: Coordinate with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready for the next day’s arrivals and address any maintenance issues immediately.
- Phone Operations: Manage the front desk phone system professionally, taking messages and directing calls to appropriate departments.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with computers and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, FrontDesk) is a plus.
- Professionalism: A neat, professional appearance and a positive attitude are required.
- License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (for occasional errands).
