Responsibilities
- Check-in/check-out guests with precision and warmth using Opera property management system
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Process payments, manage reservations, and maintain accurate billing records
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and valet teams for seamless operations
- Execute nightly audit procedures and generate end-of-day reports
- Uphold brand standards through meticulous room status management
- Act as emergency responder during overnight hours with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk experience required
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Valid Michigan driver's license for valet coordination
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Detroit attractions and transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
