Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and professional first impression.
- Check-In/Check-Out: Efficiently process reservations, registrations, payments, and key issuance using hotel PMS software.
- Communication: Answer incoming calls, manage email correspondence, and respond to guest inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Problem Solving: Address guest complaints or issues in a calm and professional manner, escalating complex matters to the Manager when necessary.
- Lobby Maintenance: Monitor the lobby area to ensure cleanliness and orderliness, and assist with directions or recommendations for local attractions.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate guest records, update registration cards, and assist with light administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Technology: Proficiency with computers and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- Professionalism: A professional appearance and demeanor; ability to stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
