Responsibilities
- Efficiently check-in/check-out guests using hotel management systems
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and coordinate with housekeeping/bell services
- Process reservations, payments, and maintain accurate guest records
- Manage multi-line phone systems and digital communication channels
- Execute opening/closing procedures including cash handling and safe operations
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experiences
- Collaborate with security team during emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years customer service or front desk experience
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, FOSSE, etc.)
- Strong multitasking abilities with attention to detail
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Basic knowledge of Memphis attractions and transportation
