As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our visitors feel welcome, secure, and well-rested during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm and professional welcome to guests upon arrival, handling check-ins and check-outs with efficiency and grace.
- Guest Communication: Manage incoming phone calls and emails, providing accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
- Security Oversight: Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises to ensure the safety and security of guests and property, including monitoring surveillance cameras.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the night shift promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Housekeeping Coordination: Communicate with housekeeping staff to ensure guest rooms are cleaned and ready for check-in or restocking of supplies.
- Payment Processing: Accurately process payments for incidentals, room service, and other charges using the hotelβs Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Key Management: Maintain strict control over master keys and access cards, logging their usage according to hotel policy.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a hotel front desk, reception, or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and basic computer skills.
- Professional Appearance: A neat, professional, and welcoming appearance.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Flexibility: Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
