We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team for our night shift operations in Houston, Texas. Responsibilities
- Guest Check-In/Out: Verify guest identities, process payments, and issue room keys efficiently and accurately.
- Night Operations: Manage front desk operations from check-in through check-out, including handling wake-up calls and security checks.
- Reservations: Update and maintain the reservation system, manage room assignments, and handle overbookings when necessary.
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
- Security & Safety: Monitor security cameras, conduct nightly patrols, and ensure the safety and security of guests and property.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare nightly reports, balance the cash drawer, and perform light cleaning of the lobby area.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in front desk operations or hotel hospitality is preferred; night audit experience is a plus.
- Schedule: Must be available to work flexible night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Skills: Strong computer proficiency (POS systems, Microsoft Office) and excellent communication skills.
- Attributes: Professional demeanor, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently during quiet hours.
