Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying registration cards and payment methods.
- Answer incoming phone calls, responding to inquiries and directing calls appropriately.
- Monitor the hotel lobby and public areas to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Handle guest complaints and requests with empathy and efficiency.
- Process and post charges, including room service and incidental charges, using the Point of Sale system.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous hospitality experience is preferred.
- Must be available to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer applications, specifically property management systems (PMS).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
