Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all registration forms and payment details are accurate.
- Manage the front desk operations during evening hours, including answering multi-line phones and responding to email inquiries promptly.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special arrangements with patience and professionalism.
- Conduct regular security patrols of the hotel premises to ensure guest safety and property security.
- Process credit card payments and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and lobby.
- Assist with special events or overflow duties as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality experience is a plus.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management systems (PMS).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude are essential.
