Responsibilities
- Execute seamless check-in and check-out procedures for all guests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests, resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain the lobby area to ensure it reflects the highest standards of cleanliness and aesthetic appeal.
- Manage reservations and room assignments using the property management system (PMS) with precision.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are ready and in perfect condition.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with strict adherence to security and auditing protocols.
- Assist in training junior staff and upholding company service standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of front desk or guest services experience in a luxury hotel setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and persuasively.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of luggage (up to 25 lbs).
