Responsibilities
- Guest Welcome: Greet and welcome guests with a warm smile, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a focus on exceeding expectations and maintaining high guest satisfaction scores.
- Operations Support: Answer incoming phone calls professionally, manage room assignments, and assist with concierge requests and local recommendations.
- Administrative Tasks: Process payments, maintain accurate records in the Property Management System (PMS), and ensure the front desk area is tidy and organized.
- Problem Solving: Handle unexpected challenges calmly and resourcefully to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant staff to coordinate guest needs.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; no prior hotel experience necessary.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact warmly with diverse guests.
- Attitude: A friendly, energetic, and professional demeanor is essential.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and carry out light physical tasks for extended periods.
- Technology: Basic computer proficiency and a willingness to learn new software systems.
