Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a memorable first and last impression.
- Check-In/Out: Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process, verifying guest information and processing payments accurately.
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, responding to inquiries about room availability, amenities, and local attractions.
- Guest Relations: Address guest complaints, requests, and special needs with patience and empathy to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Lobby Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting lobby area, including restocking amenities and ensuring the reception desk is tidy.
- Concierge Support: Assist guests with local recommendations, transportation arrangements, and any additional services they may require.
- Data Entry: Accurately record guest information and update hotel databases using our property management system.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We value attitude over experience. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and effectively in English.
- Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, outgoing personality with a strong focus on customer service.
- Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and move around the lobby area for extended periods; ability to lift light objects (up to 20 lbs).
- Problem Solving: Ability to think on your feet and resolve minor issues quickly to ensure smooth operations.
