Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure to ensure a welcoming first and last impression.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, verifying identification and handling payments accurately.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Assist guests with information regarding local attractions, dining, and transportation options.
- Process laundry and valet requests, ensuring items are returned in a timely and organized manner.
- Maintain the front desk area and lobby to ensure a clean, organized, and inviting atmosphere at all times.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with patience and a solution-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
- No prior hotel experience required; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new Property Management Systems (PMS) quickly.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license is a plus.
