Job Overview
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for their entire stay. We are seeking a reliable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making people feel at home.
Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a memorable experience from the moment they step through the door.
- Guest Relations: Handle all guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and efficiency, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Operations Management: Efficiently manage the front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and key management.
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls, respond to emails, and communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and restaurant staff to ensure guest needs are met.
- Administrative Tasks: Process payments accurately, maintain accurate guest records in the property management system, and handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Lobby Maintenance: Ensure the reception area, lobby, and restrooms are clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Policy Adherence: Familiarize yourself with hotel policies and safety procedures to ensure a secure environment for all guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training for the right candidate.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, approachable tone.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new software quickly (training provided).
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Attitude: A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to assist others.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light items (up to 25 lbs).
