Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet every guest warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive at the hotel.
- Check-In/Out: Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process, handling payments and room assignments with precision and speed.
- Communication: Answer multi-line phone systems, respond to emails promptly, and address guest inquiries regarding local attractions and amenities.
- Lobby Management: Maintain a pristine and organized front desk area, including the reception desk, waiting lounge, and public restrooms.
- Concierge Support: Provide recommendations for dining and entertainment in San Diego and assist with valet or parking coordination as needed.
- Issue Resolution: Address guest concerns and complaints with a positive attitude, escalating complex issues to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Reliability: Proven ability to be punctual, dependable, and maintain a professional appearance.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with computers and hotel management software is preferred; we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think on your feet and resolve minor guest issues with a positive attitude.
