Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests with a warm, professional smile and maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Processing check-ins, check-outs, and room changes efficiently using property management software.
- Answering incoming calls, managing the switchboard, and routing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Providing accurate information regarding local attractions, directions, and hotel amenities.
- Handling cash transactions and processing credit card payments accurately.
- Monitoring the reception area for cleanliness and safety, reporting maintenance issues promptly.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as mail sorting and guest requests.
Qualifications
- No prior front desk or hospitality experience is required; we are looking for attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional phone manner.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Must be available to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the lobby freely.
