Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a seamless check-in process.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing reservations via the PMS system.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests efficiently to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Process payments and accurately prepare bills for guests, ensuring all financial transactions are secure.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lobby, reception area, and common spaces.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly.
- Stay updated on local area attractions, events, and dining options to provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous hospitality experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Must be available to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A valid driver's license and professional appearance are required.
