Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Manage reservations and room assignments efficiently using the property management system.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest inquiries via email or chat with professionalism and urgency.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process folios accurately.
- Address guest complaints or special requests immediately and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems (PMS) is a plus.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 lbs).
