Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, handling check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Manage incoming phone calls and emails promptly, providing accurate information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with patience and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Monitor the front desk area for security and safety, ensuring a secure environment for all guests and staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk workspace, including the reception area and lobby.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk, concierge, or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
