Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first and last impression of the hotel.
- Check-In/Out: Efficiently process reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and room key assignments using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Communication: Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and guest requests with professionalism, accuracy, and courtesy.
- Information Provision: Provide detailed information regarding local attractions, dining options, transportation, and hotel amenities to assist guests.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve guest complaints or special requests immediately, escalating complex issues to the Manager when necessary.
- Lobby Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting lobby area, including coffee bar and reception desk.
- Security: Monitor the front desk area and hotel premises to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous front desk or hospitality experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Computer Proficiency: Must be comfortable using computers and familiar with property management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Professionalism: High standard of grooming and appearance consistent with a luxury hotel environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy setting.
- Language: Bilingual abilities (Spanish) are highly desirable.
