As a key ambassador of our resort, you'll be the first point of contact for our international guests, showcasing San Diego's charm while handling check-ins, reservations, and local recommendations. Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out procedures using resort management systems
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate financial records
- Provide personalized local recommendations for attractions, dining, and transportation
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with prompt, solution-oriented approaches
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness
- Operate reservation systems and manage room availability across multiple platforms
- Uphold resort standards for cleanliness, safety, and brand consistency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Valid California driver's license (for occasional errands)
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
