Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience using property management software.
- Manage the front desk operations, including answering multi-line phones, responding to emails, and directing inquiries efficiently.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions with strict accuracy and adherence to company financial policies.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly, escalating complex issues to management to ensure high satisfaction scores.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby, reception area, and common spaces to uphold a professional image.
- Assist in coordinating housekeeping requests and maintenance tickets to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals.
- Upsell hotel amenities and promote local San Francisco attractions to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous hospitality or customer service experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs when assisting with luggage or supplies.
- Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
