Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, managing all front desk operations including registration and payment processing.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Assist with luggage handling and provide directions or recommendations for local dining and attractions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Process wake-up calls, mail, and faxes as requested.
- Cross-train with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a front desk, reception, or customer service role is required.
- Strong computer proficiency with PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Micros) is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Bilingual in Spanish and/or Mandarin is highly desirable.
- Must possess a professional demeanor and a genuine passion for helping others.
